Use login/Login password
- If you want to control your application usage with login screen, set the login password here
- Don't forget the password, there is no restore mechanism
- Settings are restored only with the emergency restore
- In 24 hours the emergency backup is renewed and also there will be the password
- If you want to skip the login, set the password empty
- There is no restrictions for the password
- The password is saved encrypted in a secure way, it cannot be restored
- If you give a wrong password at login, there is a 10s wait before you get the result
- There is no locking mechanism, you can try as many times as you want
- In Windows/Linux you can get the login view from the title bar symbol ⊝
-
Encrypt data
- If you set this on, all your data is encypted on disk file
- The encryption keeps your data safe from nosy eyes, but it is not foolproof safe
- The encryption scheme is a compromise with safety and ease of use
- Since there is no extremely sensitive data the ease of use is weighed more
- The encryption grows your data about 25%
- The encryption slows down the save process, but you wouldn't probably notice it
-
Device backup period in days
- The application takes local backups periodically according to this attribute
- Backups are saved in local disk/internal memory
- In Windows/Linux you can see the save path, if you make a local backup manually from Maintenance / Backup locally
- In Windows/Linux this path is probably under your folder C:\users\nn, which is probably already in your device backup plan
- Be sure to have a device backup plan
- In Android the backups are in the internal memory of the device, which backs up with the backup plan of your device
-
Device backups size max in MB
- The application keeps old local backups until their total size grows over this limit (or next case)
- When this limit exceeds, the oldest backup is deleted
-
Device backups max number
- The application keeps old local backups until their total number grows over this limit (or previous case)
- When this limit exceeds, the oldest backup is deleted
-
Cloud backup period in days
- The application takes backups to your cloud folder periodically according to this attribute
- To have this in effect, the Cloud backup path must have a functioning value in Windows/Linux
- Cloud backups have no size or number control, so you have to control these manually
- Zero value means that the cloud backup is off
